Once again, I'm sorry for the lack of blogging lately. I've been working six days a week for the past two (going on three) weeks in a row. It's been nuts. Since I last wrote, I have purchased six vinyls for my "new to me" record player. A few of them being Daughter's new album If You Leave and various Beach Boys albums. I'm pretty sure I now know what love feels like. I also fixed my horrendous hair. My roots were almost four inches long and I couldn't handle it anymore. So I got a nice ombre to end the war between dark brown and blonde. I'm very pleased with my results. I've got two days off this week so I'm hoping to have a few days to prep some posts for you guys! Please don't hate me! Have a marvelous day, my lovelies.

The final short of the Roshambo series is out!

If you are as obsessed with Free People as I am, you probably have heard of the Roshambo shorts. You can find the first film here and the second one here. The story follows Sheila and Chris's rocky and passionate relationship. In the concluding film, we finally learn how the two met and see the couple through the eyes of Chris. I don't want to give away too much, but let's just say you're in for a surprise.

Isn't it perfect? It's perfect. 

The new Free People short is out!!!!

For those of you who don't know, Free People has began making short films. Their first one, Roshambo, was incredible. The gist of Roshambo is that Sheila and Chris run into each other on the streets of New York after not seeing each other for some amount of time. Chris is a wanderer and likes to pop in and out of Sheila's life as he pleases. He is back in town and their love is rekindled and well... you just need to watch it.  They came out with a sort of prequel to the first film yesterday called, Roshambo: Rock. It kind of explains how their relationships is and the toll it takes on Sheila. I shall link it below for your viewing pleasure. Warning: it made me cry. Prepare for some water works.

DIY: Free People Back Pack

So I was browsing through the many items on the Free People website and I stumbled upon their Alameda Embellished Backpack. 

I thought it was beautiful, but I was not willing to spend $148 on it. So I decided to make one myself. I went to my local Hobby Lobby and bought the following:
- 1 canvas backpack
- Fabric glue
- Brown fabric paint
- Assorted ribbons and embellishments
And it came out to about $40. I also ended up buying too much decorative items so it could have been a bit less.

I started by taking my pack outside to "dye" it. The paint I got was in a spray bottle which made applying extremely easy! (Just make sure you buy enough paint)

The paint was required to air dry. Once the bag was completely dry, I tossed it into the dryer for twenty minutes to heat seal the paint. Then came the fun part! I cut my embellishments the length of the front pocket and attached with fabric glue. 

And voila! You've got a cute bag for less than half the price!

Inspi-Wednesday

This Wednesday, I was inspired to share with you what I've done these past few days. I also been trying to take pictures of anything and everything. Here are the results:

2 // I had a Panera Bread date with myself. I ate a Caesar Salad and Chipotle Chicken Sandwich.

3 // I got a free lipstick from M.A.C. and I've worn it every day since I've bought it.

4 // I can't just pass by a Starbucks and not get a drink.

5 // I don't own anything green. Sorry St. Patrick.

6 // I finally lit my Green Tea Sage candle that I got from Target two weeks ago.

7 // I have a sick addiction to taking pictures of pretty skies.

8 // I went thrifting with Alyssa on Monday.

9 // Alyssa looking foxy in the hottest skirt we found at Goodwill.

10 // I got Hailee the cutest elephant mug ever and I got myself another mug because of reasons.

11 // Tonight I forgot that the local donut shop only takes cash. I never carry cash, so he gave us our donuts for free.

12 // My Free People scarf came in the mail today. It's massive.

Not photographed: Amy, Madison, and Alyssa all came over and we had a nail painting party while we watched the season finale of Pretty Little Liars. I can't even begin to talk about that show right now. I have too many feelings.

Exactly two months from today, I will be twenty one years old. So I decided to celebrate with a much needed Daily Duds post. Wooooo!
