I'M STILL HERE, GUYS.

Sorry, I've been M.I.A. for awhile! I've been extremely busy with work and trying to enjoy my summer. I also recently got into a car accident. So I'm immobile for the time being. Lesson learned: Don't go out past 2:30 because crazy drunks who probably don't have insurance will hit you and run. But besides that, everything has been pretty great. I've bonded with my coworkers. I've reconnected with some old friends. I've also been enjoying my time with my family. Summer 2013 is treating me well for the most part.

*SIDE NOTE: KINGS OF LEON IS COMING OUT WITH A NEW ALBUM SOON. THIS IS THEIR FIRST SINGLE OFF THE NEW ALBUM. I'M OBSESSED. GAH.

Anyways! My past two weeks have consisted of the following: lots of coffee, lava monster, breakfast dates, DIYs, life lessons, real talks, good food, free frozen yogurt, sleepovers, being courageous, and cats.

I finally got around to charging my camera (it's been dead since fourth of July). I'll be taking more photos soon! Keep your eyes peeled! I'll see you soon, lovelies!

Recap: Hello

Hello there, folks. I just thought I'd share some photos from the past few days and update you on what's been going on in my life. I've been picking up extra shifts in order to speed up my training process at work. I spent almost three hours this evening studying for menu exam tomorrow. I have to learn how to make every item on the menu, the order of the ingredients, the measurements/weight of each item, and what utensil we use for each item. It's exhausting. 

I've also been on the hunt for goodies for my new place. Madison gave me a beautiful print and some lamps while I was roaming around her home. I am so excited to decorate! 

I decided to gave Indian food another chance and I was not disappointed. I want more. 

Alyssa left me this weekend to go to San Diego which saddened me, but she came back today! Woohoo! I get to see her tomorrow. 

I didn't sleep last night and it caused me to be extremely loopy today. I barely remember my morning. All I remember is getting stuck in a infant sized school bus and now I have huge bruises on my legs from trying to climb out the front window of the vehicle. 

Oh, and I made seventeen bucks at my garage sale selling some clothes. Making that money.

Busy busy busy!

These past few weeks have been extremely crazy! So many things have happened. So many things are going to happen. I get the urge to dance just thinking about all the fun and amazing things that are coming my way. I mean, I would dance, but I definitely broke my toe on Monday. My legend as a "bull in a china shop" precedes me. I should not be allowed in any room that isn't padded. Anyways! Here is a look at what has/is going to happen in the next few months.

April:

- Start my Shift Lead training (Yes, this lady got a promotion!) My boss at my second job had made mention to me that she was interested in promoting me from Cashier to Shift Lead, but I never knew the seriousness of the suggestion. Turns out, it was completely serious. I started training Monday morning. It's going to take about three months to learn the ropes, but I will be getting full time work with benefits. Freaking finally.

May: (CRAZY BUSY)

- Madison's and Hailee's birthday are two days apart. I can't wait to spoil those ladies.

- MY 21ST BIRTHDAY (May 19th) !!!!!!! 

- LAS VEGAS, BABY! Mini three day vacation with the family.

- Birthday party? I'm thinking yes. 1920's themed? Oh, you know it. (Theme is up for debate)

June:

- Finishing up my final semester at my other job (Full time Shift Lead equals no more school job). It's going to be a bittersweet month. I am really excited for my new job, but I'm going to to miss this one. It's been an incredible two years and I don't know if I'm ready to leave.

July: 

- Shift Lead training will be DONE. 

August:

- OUTSIDE LANDS OUTSIDE LANDS OUTSIDE LANDS! It's my first festival, can't you tell?

Here's where I've been and what I've been up to these past few days:

- I made a new friend cat.

- I fell in love with succulents.

- I lost Amy in my sea of blankets.

- I got a Hoosier! (Look it up. I didn't know what it was either) I am now able to store all of my mugs!

- I got a gorgeous new mirror to hang above my bed. It makes the room look much bigger.

Hello (Spring Break: Part 1)

It has been a few days since my last post. I'm on Spring Break this week and I'm trying to stay away from the computer as much as I can. I have been out and about with my family and friends and I thought I'd share my collection of photographs that I've been taking throughout my absence.

So far, my Spring Break has consisted of:

- Spending Easter day with my family

- Playing with bubbles and doing cartwheels

- Taking too many pictures of pretty things in Madison's house

- Finally seeing Jasmine!

- Going swimming and actually getting tan!

- Playing with various animals that are not mine

- Yummy food and sleepovers

- Horrible movies (I hated Spring Breakers)

- Baking with with my lady love, Alyssa

- Ukulele playing and hair parties

- Trying to go to Medieval Times with my family, but going to TGI Friday's instead

And that's what I've been up to.
