My New Routine

Currently listening to:

As some of you may know, I am a morning person. I tend to be a tad lazy most mornings because they are the only time I am free on work days. I want to just lie in bed until I have  to get ready for work. I have decided to quit that bad habit. So each morning, I am setting three goals for myself to complete by the time I leave for work. They aren't big tasks, just little things I can do to feel like I accomplished something. This morning my goals were to make myself breakfast (a legitimate one AKA not popping something in the microwave), do my laundry, and draw at least one photo. I'm proud to say that all my tasks have been completed. This puts me in a better mood and makes me feel prepared for my busy day ahead. Do you guys have any daily routines?

*Side note: I am trying to make art more often. Alyssa has already set up a store for me. Once I start pumping out some pieces, I will let you guys know. They hopefully will be for sale at some point in the next few months! Keep your eyes peeled! #hannahmakesuglyart

Things I found in my phone // Pt I

Currently listening to:

So I often find myself taking photos while I'm out and about (like every other human being with a camera phone), but I don't really post them on any site. I was looking through my phone this evening and saw all of these gems. I thought I should start sharing them on here! Posting 1913841983 photos a day to Instagram can be quite annoying. I don't want to be that girl. So I'll put them here, where frequent posting is welcome. Enjoy, love bugs - xoxo

Good lanta, I take too many pictures of coffee / food. I cannot be stopped.

Welcoming the Season

Currently listening to:

It is officially October and Autumn. This is my favorite time of year. Sweaters, layering, hot coffee, nights in, and pretty leaves. I am having a hard time containing my excitement! Everything seems so cozy during this time of year. I'm wanting to have a pajama potluck sometime within the month. I'm such an old lady.

*Photos by me // I just made a Flickr account. I've got like two photos up. If you have one, let me know!

It's about to get busy.

This upcoming week is going to be a chaotic one. I just got my work schedule for next week and it's a doozy. Let me give you the low down on what my week is going to look like work wise.

Monday | 11:15AM-5:00PM
Tuesday | 12:00PM-4:30PM
Wednesday | 7:30AM-8:15AM / 2:30PM-4:30PM / 5:30PM-10:00PM
Thursday | 12:00PM-4:30PM / 5:30PM-10:00PM
Friday | 10:30AM-2:30PM
Saturday | 5:15PM-11:00PM
Sunday | Off

I don't know how I am able to function after Wednesdays. I am itching for next Sunday already.
But until then, I'm just going to plan this Sunday (seeing that it was my only day off this week).

>>Clean my room
>>Clean out my closet and sell some clothes
>>Wash my car
>>Prep some posts for this week
>>Drink some coffee
>>Make myself food instead of going out and buying some
>>Hang out with Alyssa

Also, shout out to my awesome sister for getting me this perfect mug. She's quite the enabler. I can't stop the mug addiction.

Here's some tunes to help you slip into a relaxed state.

I hope you all have a nice, relaxing Sunday.

Welcome Spring

Along with the seasons changing, I feel like a lot of things in my life are changing with it. I also think it is time to do some spring cleaning. I want to set some goals for myself and have them accomplished by the end of the summer.

>>Stop drinking soda (I have been doing well with it, but I caved and had Dr Pepper yesterday)
>>Lose fifteen pounds (or more)
>>Plant something and keep it alive
>>Get a full time job
>>Have a garage sale
>>Save some money each paycheck to treat myself to something nice
>>Run a mile in under eight minutes (My fastest mile time was 7:12)

I'm sure I'll have more to add to the list later, but right now, that's all I got.
Here are some songs that I cannot stop listening to lately:

I love you so. by Hannah Kay on Grooveshark

I hope you are all enjoying your first week of Spring!

Inspi-Wednesday

Today, I was inspired by my favorite time of day. My ideal time of day would be between nine and eleven in the morning. The sun would be out, but the weather would be on the chillier side (much like today). Something about this time of day sparks my creativity and instantly makes me feel happy. So I took a few photos of what my morning looked like.

The one perk of working early on Wednesdays is how gorgeous the sky looks.

And I am currently listening to Forever Young by Youth Group

Enjoy your Wednesday morning!
PS. HAPPY BIRTHDAY ALYSSA. LOVE YOU GIRL!

Happy Caturday!

It's Caturday right meow. :3
I just want a cat okay?

But, that's besides the point. Today, I would like to share with you about what I did yesterday. I woke up Friday morning feeling even more ill than the night prior. I laid in bed until the last moment possible and then forced myself to put on my clothes and brave girl face and go to work. Turns out they only needed me for two hours and let me leave extremely early. So I decided to treat myself to this beaut: a grande Iced Hazelnut Macchaito with a shot of Toffee Nut.

And yes, it's as delicious as it looks. Then I drove home to meet up with my dear friend, Melissa. We hung around my house, caught up, and then got some food. I missed her. It was so great to see her! She then left for work and I laid in bed and watched multiple episodes of Clothes Encounters on Youtube. My family came home and we all went out to dinner.

Isn't my sister the cutest? After our delectable dinner at one of our favorite restaurants, my family and I went across the street to Target where we got candy to sneak into the movie we were seeing later that night. I managed to wander off and find myself in the candle aisle for almost ten minutes smelling all of the wonderful scents. I committed to two candles.

The Blue Agave candle smells like a strong, burly man. I can't even begin to explain what that even smells like. It's just amazing. You'll either have to take my word for it or go to Target and figure it out yourself. Once we made it out of the store, we drove to buy our movie tickets. We saw Oz, the Great and Powerful  and it was amazing. (I may be biased considering that The Wizard of Oz was my favorite movie as a child) I say go see it anyways! Once we bought the tickets, we walked over to Petco and looked at the kitties that were available for adoption. I fell in love with this baby:

Her name is Missy and I'm pretty sure we're soul mates. I want to adopt her so badly. Look at her pressing her cheek against mine. Love at first sight. Anyways, once I said farewell to my future pet, we walked to Starbucks where I purchased two more mugs (which I have no room for).

They are gorgeous though. I couldn't resist. We then waiting in the movie theater hallways waiting for the movie to start.

I felt like a child. I was so giddy and excited throughout the entire movie. I am probably going to go see it again. You all don't understand the obsession I once had (that is now coming back). Then this happened:

The movie ended and now I'm sad because it's not allowed to end.
So, here is the end of this post.
Long live the Great and Powerful Oz!

Friday Favorites

Let me start off by saying that being sick is not a favorite thing. This Friday is filled with germs, sneezing, and feeling uncomfortable. Hoo-freaking-ray. I feel as though my immune system has been curb stomped and all I want right now is for my nose to stop running. If you didn't already know, sitting here with tissues shoved up my nose is extremely uncomfortable (not to mention, unattractive). All I really want right now is a nice cup of coffee. Keep in mind that I do have a coffee maker in the corner of my room, but that would require me to move. Now, we all know that moving while you're sick is the worst. It's right up there with calculus, war, and people getting your order wrong while you're out to eat. So I'm just going to sit here and stare at coffee corner and wish that I had some in my body. While I lay here and complain, I would like to dedicate this Friday Favorites post to my one true love/favorite thing in the whole wide world: COFFEE.

All photos can be found here: (x)
or are personal photos of mine.

So since I typed my opening paragraph, I have gained enough strength within me to get my bottom out of bed and make myself a decaf cup of coffee (because this girl is trying to actually sleep tonight).

I hope you all have sickness free Friday.
Thanks for reading about my favorite thing in the entire world (besides food).
