Tell us a little bit about yourself.
A: My name's Amy. I'm 17 and a senior at Lakewood.
J: My name is Jake. I am 18 years old. I really like to bake things and skateboard. When I am older, I want to be a youth pastor.

How'd you two meet?
A: Math class in eighth grade.
J: Amy and I met in our Pre-Algebra class in eighth grade.

Favorite item of clothing?
A: That vest! Even if it doesn't match, I really try hah.
J:  My favorite item of clothing would have to be the button up that I wore in the shoot because it was 50 cents and it has a cool pattern.

Do you have any style inspiration or icons?
A: Molly Ringwald . I LOVE her.
J: I have no idea, I just like what I like...

What's your worst outfit nightmare?
A: One time the crotch of one of my pants split right in front of a cute boy. It was so embarrassing!
J: I have no idea. I probably blocked it from my memory.

Where do you shop the most?
A: The very large majority of my clothes are thrifted, but I love Urban (when I can afford it) and F21.
J: I shop at Pacsun, thrift stores, really anywhere.

Who are you currently jamming to?
A: Beach House, Selena Gomez (u kno gurl), and Macklemore
J: Sleepyhead by Passion Pit

What's a random fact you know about each other?
A: Jake is literally good at everything. It's crazy and always so surprising because he's so hard on himself.
J: Amy is a great singer. Umm idk

Trendy Company: Alyssa

I am starting a new feature called, "Trendy Company" where my extremely adorable friends can shine in all of their well-dressed glory. This week's guest is none other than my teeny tiny friend, Alyssa.

Tell us a little about yourself.

I'm Alyssa! I like to read and do crafts. I'm going to school for Library Science to be a librarian.

When would you say your style developed?

Hmmm, I feel like my style always changes, but I guess I would have to say when I started going to college.

Who are some of your style icons?

Audrey Hepburn, Dita Von Teese, Zooey Dechanel, Katy Perry, and Snow White.

What are some of your favorite things in your closet?

My Doc Martens, denim vest, my assortment of tights and my sailor like dress.

Where are your favorite places to shop?

Thrift stores, Kohls, Target, and TJ Maxx

What's the most embarrassing thing you've ever worn?

Oh dear, I would have to say purple pants with a purple v-neck, and purple Vans. I also had purple hair. 

That was a sad day.

What is the best fashion advice you can give?

Be creative. It's okay to mix patterns and things like that. It's better to look different than to look like everyone else.
