On the Road: Anza Borrego

Over the weekend, a group of friends and I went to Anza Borrego Desert State Park in San Diego County. This semi-high maintenance lady learned to rough it. I slept on the desert floor, in a tent, with no electricity. I went hiking for the first time in who knows how long. I visited an abandoned house on top of a mountain. I climbed rocks and got dirty. It was a new experience and I'm glad I did it. It definitely made me even more thankful for my comfy bed back home. It was such a beautiful trip and I enjoyed every bit of it. Big shout out to Christian for planning the extravaganza. I would definitely go back again (maybe with an air mattress next time).

Pumkins & GOURDgous Pals

Tonight finally felt like Fall. Alyssa, Christian, and myself ventured to Pa's Pumpkin Patch in Seal Beach where we gallivanted through the rows and rows gourds. It was a blast. I wish I could just lay in the hay and sleep with all the lumpy pumpkins. Also, Alyssa bought me a little baby squashy, gourdy thing. It's my new pet. October, you're treating me well.

My Weekend

I had a busy weekend! I spent Saturday evening at a small gathering with some friends of mine and then went on a Huntington Beach adventure Sunday night with my sister, Hailee and Alyssa. I'm looking forward to more nights like these this fall. I'm thinking of planning a pajama day, a few bonfires, and some site seeing dates. I'll make sure to have photography documentation at all of these excursions.
